Tell me about your property

Ten minutes, once. It's everything I need to start putting matched guests in front of you — before I've been out to film. Nothing here is published until we've agreed terms, and the commercial details never appear on the site at all.

The basics

Getting to the lift

The single most-asked question on the site, and the one listings get wrong most often. Please give me real numbers, in ski boots, carrying skis — not the Google Maps walk. I'll time them myself when I visit.

Name it — "the lifts" means nothing in a resort with three bases.

How do your guests actually get there? If most of them take the bus or a taxi rather than walking, say so — that is not a mark against you. A twenty-minute walk that is an eleven-minute bus ride gets ranked on the eleven minutes, and being honest here is what stops you losing to a worse property with a shorter walk.

Including the wait. This is the number the matching engine uses.

In minutes

Guests are caught out by this more than anything else.

Who fits, and how many

e.g. "Standard double sleeps 2 · Superior with sofa bed sleeps 4"

Length of stay

e.g. Saturday only from late January to early March. Leave blank if guests can arrive any day.

When are you open? Winter and summer if both.

Price

Rough bands are fine — I quote "from" prices and always tell guests to confirm with you. What matters is that nobody arrives expecting a number you never charged.

e.g. "Low Dec + Apr 260–300 · High Feb 380–420"

Eating

Guests want to know if they can eat before the first lift.

none, kitchenette, or full

What's there

Run a speed test — a lot of long-stay guests choose on this.

Honesty section

The most useful part of the form. I tell guests who a place is not right for, which means you stop fielding enquiries you were always going to lose. Properties that answer this well get better-matched guests.

e.g. big groups, guests needing step-free access, anyone wanting nightlife on the doorstep.

Room numbers, aspects, which side is quiet.

Road, bar, lift machinery, early piste bashers.

Who I talk to

Not published. This is only so I can reach a human in season.

Leave blank if we have not discussed it yet.

No rush — you go live in the matcher first either way.

I'll come back within a couple of days. Nothing is published until we've both agreed the terms in writing.

Got it — thank you.

That's everything I need to start matching guests to you. I'll be in touch to confirm the referral terms, and we'll sort filming when it suits you.
